CHOIR
The music of the Orthodox Church is an integral part of worship services. Choral music must add to the liturgy, not distract from the prayerful environment of worship. The Choir works hand in hand with the Parish Priest to support the structure and meaning of the various services. The choir provides the important service accompaniment and chanting during Sunday Divine Liturgy, Special Feast Days, Great Lent and Holy Week. It is truly a blessing to attend service and hear the glorious voices of our choir fill the church with praise.
Our Church choir practices every Wednesday evening. All are welcome to participate, regardless of their musical ability or background. The choir sings in both Greek (written in English phonetics) and in English.
